This presentation provides an overview of Cladding Support Systems and includes topics such as Thermal Bridging, Air and Moisture Ventilation, Panel Configuration, Cavity Depths, and Continuous Insulation. We outline the benefits of Thermally Isolated materials in the construction of the Building Envelope and how this method of construction can result in greater Total R-Values of the Wall Assembly.

1. Understand some differences between different cladding support systems on the market today and how they can best serve the design process. 
2. Explain how to improve the energy efficiency of exterior walls & meet changing code requirements using more advanced cladding support systems. 
3. Explore methods to attach panels that will improve thermal performance and cause fewer punctures to the waterproofing layer 
4. Explore cladding support accessories that will help address terminations and corner details
