This course covers the history of stucco through the modern inclusion of a ventilated rainscreen system. It examines the importance of incorporating a continuous air barrier, free drainage and vented concealed moisture barrier in solving moisture damage.

In this course we will examine: 

• History of exterior stucco 
• Recent developments in stucco assemblies 
• Drainage, venting and details of stucco wall systems 
• Case studies from failure to remediation
