In this presentation, Mirka Carlson will give a brief introduction on the development of rainscreen technology in modern day construction, and highlight the importance of maintaining a rainscreen's performance in its application. In addition, you will learn more about the practice of proper fireblocking in rainscreen systems and the associated recently developed building adoptions to this practice. Finally, the conclusion of the presentation will introduce intumescent technology and its effect in ventilated rainscreen systems.
